ICS for the Bionic Now has 4g lte 5.5.902

Dhacker has done it! He has achieved 4g LTE data on his build of ICS for the Bionic! So now the only thing that is missing for this rom is a functioning camera. I have heard that HashCode will be working on getting the camera working on this Rom as he has on the Razr version! This Rom is still in ALPHA since Dhacker is a perfectionist. It is nice to see that we still have a few very dedicated devs who are working on this great device!

It should be noted that you will need to be on 5.5.902 to flash this Rom.

Grab the Rom here!

how do you get onto 5.5.902?

  • Smileyrune

Oh and I had tried flashing it from another Rom not paying attention that it should been 5.5.902 or 5.9.902 idk what it should be but It loaded and booted up successfully but I could not get data to work. I went to phone info to toggle it but the option would only stay at unknown and not let me switch it.

You will need to downgrade to .886 via one click path saver but do not flash updates. Then root, then apply forever root manually, then update to .893 you should maintain root, then receive
902 ota you should still have root

ok so i was looking up the path saver method but your link isnt loading when i try and download it.

I’ll post a better method to 902 rooted this evening

            thanks really appreciate it.

I assume 3g is working also?

    • Anonymous

      Lol yes!

When I flash GApps, do I follow the same directions as I do for installing your ICS ROM?  I.e., install zip from SD card.

    • Anonymous

Yes… its best to flash those in the same session

      • Alo1

        Thanks.

Works with bootstrap.  Can I just say the ROM looks sweet.

  • Alo1

Tried flashing this ROM using safestrap (i am on 902), and it failed.  Is there a link where i can get step by step instructions?

    • Anonymous

      Should have a video soon

      • Alo1

Thanks.  just out of curiosity, why can’t bootstrap recovery be used?

        • Anonymous

I have not tested it but I’m pretty sure it can be used

  • Alo1

It looks good.  But when I rebooted, I get the message “unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped.  That message just keeps popping up.  Do you have any idea where I went wrong?

    • Anonymous

Maybe a data wipe from stock recovery would fix this

      • Alo1

I tried that: factory data reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik.  The first time i installed, I did the factory data reset only.

        • Anonymous

You did that from stock recovery? Or clockwork mod recovery?

          • Alo1

Clockwork mod.  Should I use stock?

          • Anonymous

Yes use stock recovery to wipe data … that solves most problems that arise from flashing a rom

          • Alo1

Now i am in a bootloop.

          • Anonymous

Not sure how… maybe wipe data again then if that doesn’twork fxz and start over

  • Alo1

Maybe I do  need to use safestrap after all…Anyway, the phone is working again.  I was able to get into CWM recovery…

  • Alo1

Droidmodder, thanks for all your help.  I think i am going to give up.  I am able to get it to work, but when I reboot, it reboots into CWM recovery.  Now, when I select reboot system now, it works fine and the error message i had been getting is no longer an issue, but I cannot get it to reboot without it going into recovery.  Of course there are worse things in life (bootlooping, for example or a brick).  But if a factory data reset doesn’t work, I am out of ideas.
