A month or so ago Team Kang released a build of AOKP that included apps in the Navigation bar! This was revolutionary, but apparently wasn’t enough. a few weeks after apps in nav bar was incorporated into AOKP we got a demo video or proof of concept for swipe-able widgets. Team Kang is closer than ever to making this a reality. Theoretically you could totally take away the launcher dock and just have widgets and apps in the nav bar since there would be no navigation you could have your normal phone functions plus nav functions and so on!
