How to return to GB Officail OTA upgrade path from ICS Leak BIONIC

Some of you were on the fence about flashing the new ICS leak to your Bionic because many were reporting that it may be difficult to return to the Official OTA update path. Some Droid4, Razr, and Razr Maxx users had previously ran into trouble after flashing the ICS leaks and then trying to fastboot back to stock Gingerbread. Some had even reported bricking their phones. However it turns out that the current ICS leaks builds 6.7.2231, 6.7.2232, and 6.7.2233 are all compatible with the 5.9.902 FXZ files! I have personally tested this theory and successfully flashed my Bionic from the ICS leak back to .902 Gingerbread!

Who would have ever guessed that not only would we see a phenomenal ICS leak with so few issues, but it would also be so easy to revert to GB if need be?  I guess in the end, it was truly worth waiting for – and proof that being first isn’t always for the best.  Even if the next build leaked changes this ease of going back, I would be perfectly happy to stay on 2233 for it’s relative safety until the final build goes OTA since it is such a highly polished OS.
