Bionic Users! Ice Cream Sandwich is finally ready for primetime on this device thanks to Developer DHACKER29. ICS 4 Bionic has been in the works since late last year, but Dhacker is finally beginning to work out some of the crucial kinks in making this thing a daily driver. The main fix in this version is WORKING 3G and LTE DATA! You could probably get by on this Rom for a full day now. Then only thing that is really not working in this build is the camera, but I am very confidant that Dhacker with the help of Hashcode will have the camera up and running very soon. At any rate it is nice to see that we have a mostly complete build of ICS several months before the oficial version will be released.

Developer Nitrglycerine33 brings you V2.0 of his Eclipse Rom for the Bionic! This is based on Moto Blur Gingerbread version 5.7.893 cleaned up with lots of custom goodies! This Rom is totally Deodexed and Debloated and includes lots of AOSP apps, a custom launcher, tons of ICS treats and much more. This version also includes some new Eclipse wallpapers, updated eclipse parts, added rotary and slider lockscreens and too much to list here.

Developer Dhacker29 has really been plugging away on his ICS port for the Droid Bionic, and boy has it come a long way! We now have working GPS, wifi, and phone audio… This Rom could actually be used for an extended period of time. Of course we are lacking a working camera and data, but Dhacker is sooo very close to having those functioning as well. Before you know it we will have a daily driver ICS build for our device! Super Exciting!

Dhacker of the Th3oryRom Team has been hard at work porting ICS to the Droid Bionic! In the past few weeks he has come a very long way at getting this thing fully functional for our devices and he is almost there! We are now on Alpha build 6. We have working phone (no sound) and working wifi! You can easily jump into this rom to play around with Ice Cream Sandwich and then jump back to your stable rom as it is installed via SafeStrap! Thanks to RevNumbers and HashCode0f we now have an extremely alpha build of CyanogenMod7 for the BIONIC!

So the Working parts. Phone works for making calls, sensors work, audio works wifi works.

NOt working; DATA 3g/4g, Bluetooth, camera, camcorder.

This build is not ready to be used as a dailydriver yet, but RevNumbers is always good about hammering out updates, and I’m confident this will be stable and ready for daily use soon. The good news is that it installs via the Safestrap Recovery which means you will have a good stable rom as your main rom and then boot into this as a 2nd rom to play around with.
