Regain Root on 6.2.2 update with Burrito Root 2

Some of you may have noticed that you lost root when the new update came along for your Kindle Fire. No worries developer Jcase of androidpolice and rootzwiki has come through again. He has put together a simple root method the only requirement is that you have adb access. If you have ever been rooted on your Kfire then you probably have that already. The process is super easy and you will be done in 2 minutes or less. Then you can hope back on the Kindle Fire Root Utility and install your market and TWRP recovery and mod to your hearts content!

[ROM] MIUI Rom for Kindle Fire IOS style rom

Are you tired of the Kfire UI? It can be buggy and very laggy at times. It was nice in the beginning but it has kind of grown old to me. The MIUI Rom will give you a more Android like experience. It includes all kinds of Themeing options you can make it look and feel as much like Android as you like or as much like IOS as you like. Either way you will end up with a much smoother snappier experience.

XDA user VashyPooh has put together the ultimate Utility that allows you to basically one click your way through all the important mods, like Root, Market Install, Wallpaper Lock/unlock, and TWRP custom recovery install.

In this video I will walk you through the easy basically, but not technically, 1-click root method! You'll see what I mean.

This Script does use the OpenSourced BurritoRoot by Jcase of Rootzwiki and Androidpolice so be sure to drop him a buck or two as well, his donate link can be found at the link in the description as well

Unboxing of the Kindle Fire and My First Impressions!

My first impression of this device is that I really like it. I didn’t think I would like the 7″ screen but it is really beginning to grow on me. Its not super light and thin but its not super heavy either. It is plenty fast as it is running on a dual core TI OMAP processor. The Silk Browser experience is fluid and nice. Everything about the UI on this device is super user friendly. I feel like anyone can pick this thing up and play with it. More so than the IPAD. I really like the 1 month free Amazon Prime membership that it comes with which allows for free movie streaming, free book borrowing and even free shipping from the amazon store. This thing has alot going for it. It is a very capable device, and you just can’t beat the $199 price point. My only gripes here are that its short on storage (although FREE cloud storage is included) and I would have preferred that the usb port and power button be up top, but I actually do like the placement of the speakers being up top so I guess you win some you loose some.
Overall I am very happy with this device so far!
